The majority of the Bulgarian drivers are strongly emotionally attached to his car to enjoy driving so proud of your car and see it as more of a friend or partner, rather than sole means of propulsion. This shows the results of a national survey conducted by TNS BBSS in September 2009 on behalf of Shell Bulgaria. "In our country still part of this culture of emotional involvement is related to the exercise of personal care for the car since 54 percent of drivers take care of your car alone or with friends - said Zhivko Georgiev from TNS BBSS. Compared with the results of a similar survey conducted on behalf of Shell in the United States as a whole Bulgarian drivers are slightly more strongly attached to their cars and tend to a greater extent to take care of themselves or with friends to their car.

To provide even better care of cars and drivers to assist in this regard, Shell Bulgaria started the initiative "I love my car". Its purpose is to provide practical advice on health care for the car, useful information and to encourage drivers to carry out regular technical inspection of vehicles for professionals. Special focus of the initiative will be caring for the heart of the car - its engines - and how it can be maintained in good health. As part of the initiative have been developed and tips for choosing quality fuels and lubricating fluids, and recommendations for preventing the engine of the car. The first informative material, which is part of the initiative presents seven steps that will help drivers to keep your engine clean of deposits and to take advantage of its maximum power for longer periods. In November will launch a thematic site www.azobichamkolatasi.com, where drivers will have the opportunity for online consultations with technical experts and to share information and tips on car care.

"We know that the Bulgarian driver loves his car and was willing to care for her even more than for his personal health - said Kamelia Slaveykova, Country Chair Shell Bulgaria. Decided to start this initiative to support drivers in their efforts to have a strong car with good running engines. We believe that it will be helpful to both experienced and novice drivers to take care of their cars and through our councils, and through our high-quality fuels, which contribute to optimal engine operation. "

The technical expertise of the program is provided by experts in the chain sets BOSCH Car Services, who partner with Shell in Bulgaria this initiative, consult the information materials and prepare practical advice to motorists.
