( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Just like the old WRX STI, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI will have a turbocharged 305 horsepower 2.5-liter boxer engine that makes 290 lbs-feet of torque. Overall appearance is nearly identical to the all-new WRX -- the most telling additions are a massive wing on the rear deck lid and unique wheels. The chassis of the 2015 Subaru WRX STI has been beefed up to work with the more aggressive power-train and suspension. No continuously variable transmission is offered. There is a six-speed manual transmission paired with a similar traction control system that was in the former Subaru WRX STI. The 2015 Subaru WRX STI has a Active Torque Vectoring system. It supplements the Multi-Mode Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) stability and traction control system. A electronically controlled center differential works with the mechanical limited-slip type center differential to portion our the torque in the most effective way.
